Independent jewelry designer Sally Daner is a lot of wonderful things, talented, kind, creative, beautiful, but perhaps most importantly, she is also my mother!

Now I know what your thinking.. if she’s a mom of someone old enough to write a blog she’s probably too old to be hip or cool. But let me tell you a little bit about Sally… Sally was a hippie, but she was a hippie before it was cool to be a hippie, and she was cool before anyone ever even used the word “cool”. She was, is, and always will be a trendsetter. In fact she often had her picture snapped by fashion magazines in London when she lived there as examples of what the groovy kids were wearing out on Kings Road. I’ll post those pictures when I dig them up to prove it to you, but for now here’s a pic I have handy, courtesy of my sister Roxanne:

But perhaps most relevant to you, is that sally has an amazing eye for design and a complete attention to detail and quality. That’s what comes through in the Charmed & Dangerous collection.

The only thing Sally is NOT, however, is web savvy…

In fact I’m not quite sure she even knows what a blog is, let alone myspace, social bookmarking or social shopping or anything remotely computer/internet related. So that’s where I come in, I’ll be bloging here, building/maintaining the shopping site, our myspace page and of course working on fabulous new designs to bring you!

So, (as you may have figured out already) we don’t know exactly where we’re going, but we’re really glad to have you along for the ride!
