Like her mom, Ariana has a long history of changing artistic obsessions direction. 

From her early career as a singer-songwriter to her current position of one half of the Charmed & Dangerous team, Ariana brings an artistic if not neurotically perfectionistic eye to all of her endeavors. She finds that none of this is more true than in her attempts to renovate her new (old) home - in which she figures for every one peice she keeps, she returns four more that didn’t make the final cut.

Five fun filled random facts about Ariana:

1. Her full name at birth was Ariana Gabrielle Sai Ram Daner because her parents were total hindu-loving hippies. She actually grew up on a commune part time when she was little. She made them legally drop the Sai Ram when she was 13 and now she kind of wishes she didn’t.

2. She was conceived in Afghanistan because her parents were globe trotting hippies (see #1 ) and Ariana is in fact the ancient name of Afghanistan.

 3. She was once in a print ad for Weleda. The ad copy said “Girl at beach enjoying her Citrus Body Lotion.” They had so many complaints that they called her “girl” and not “woman” that they had to pull the ad.  Ariana was only 13 at the time.

4. She used to study astrology and wanted to be an astrologer before she discovered songwriting and decided to become a musician.

5. Ariana is totally fascinated by other people’s lives and stories.  She’s never seen a documentary she didn’t like and LOVES radio essay/interview programs like This American Life and Fresh Air.
